今年3月、幼少期の夢でもあったシルク・ドゥ・ソレイユの舞台に立ったBMXアーティスト吉田尚生。 双子の兄、幸生と共に15歳からBMX Flatlandを始め、19 歳の時に単身でフランス へ渡り、国際大会での 優勝を飾る。その後、ヨーロッパ、アメリカと各地を転戦し、世界を舞台に活躍するライダーとなる。 一度会社員となるも夢を諦められずにBMXの世界で舞い戻り、世界最高峰のエンターテイメントの舞台であるシルク・ドゥ・ソレイユ新作ワールドツアーショー「VOLTA」に出演を果たす。 情熱を持って自分のやりたいこと、幸せを追求し、夢を実現させた「BMXアーティスト吉田尚生」に迫った。

吉田尚生/YOSHIDA NAO 横浜を代表する双子の BMX プロライダー 15 才より双子の兄・幸生と共に BMX に出会う。 スピード感のあるライディングと独自のバックワーズスピンを武器にして、 2009 年全日本選手権 King of Ground エキスパートクラス 年間優勝と共に プロクラス昇格。 2014年には全日本ランキング2位を獲得し、現在は日本一を目標に活動中。 BMX選手としての一面のみならずアーティストとしての活動も行う。 水彩画を得意として、BMX から感じた遠心力や流れを表現した作品を作る。 2011年横浜 Grassroots にて個展『Flat world』を行い、その後ニューヨークのアートコンテストで 100 名の中から選ばれて個展を行う。 現在は日本を代表する芸術劇団へ所属し、美術制作の現場で活動中。 MOTEL WORKS http://motelworks.com JYKK JAPAN http://www.jykkjapan.com RIDER & EDIT Nao Yoshida.
